Elise Willer holds a bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University and dual master’s degrees in Sustainable International Development and Coexistence & Conflict Resolution from Brandeis University. Elise is certified in mediation from the Harvard Mediation Program and works as a mediator in Boston. She is the founder of the firm Journey Thru Conflict, which provides a variety of conflict management and mediation services to students, families, and businesses. Over the course of her career, Elise has lived and worked in 8 countries contributing to her culturally sensitive approach to conflict prevention and resolution. She is fluent in English and French and has an intermediate level of Spanish. As an Insight Fellow, Elise provides training and coaching on negotiation, difficult conversations, and related topics that focus on helping others strengthen their capacity for effective communication in times of emotional or situational difficulty.
